DIY Christmas Decor – Dollar Tree Snowman

Hey My Loves,

I hope you are all doing well. It feels like Christmas has been in the air for months now, especially since our favorite retail stores have been marketing their Christmas items as early as September. I, on the other hand, waited until the weekend before Thanksgiving to even look at Christmas decoration. Suddenly, I feel like I am a little behind the game with sharing content with you guys. Hopefully I can make up for it over the next few weeks 😬.

Have you begun your preparations for Christmas yet? Leave me a comment below and let me know what you’ve done so far.

So this week I’m sharing how I created these cute little light up snowmen using items from Dollar Tree and other items found around my home. I’ve created a video for this as part of a YouTube collaboration, but it is not availble quite yet. Be sure to follow me at http://bit.ly/AngelaEastTV to be alerted when it posts.

Since the video isn’t scheduled to go live yet, I promised members of the DIY Home Ideas Facebook group that i would create a blog post, so here it is 🤓.

I truly hope you enjoy this DIY. If you decide to recreate it, be sure to share it with me on Instagram at instagram.com/iamangelaeast.

So, without further ado, let us get started with supplies:

I’ve had my spray paint for a while. I purchased this at Hobby Lobby for a whopping $7.99. Save some money and head over to Home Depot where you can find similar paint for around $4.00

Make sure you DO NOT hot glue the snowman to the base (mirror). You need to be able to lift it to turn on and off the light

DIY Dollar Tree Snowman

To glam my snowman up a bit, I wrapped a piece of gold tule around the base

And that’s it guys. Enjoy a few more pictures of my snowmen in their new home 😊.
