Hey My Loves,

Today I’m sharing a cute, chic, and extremely simple Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer DIY. I mean, who doesn’t love Rudolph? After all his little red nose lights the way for Santa, right? LOL, ok while my children are beyond the Santa Clause years, it is still fun to add some playful elements to my Christmas decorations.

I truly hope you enjoy this DIY. If you decide to recreate it, be sure to share it with me on Instagram at instagram.com/iamangelaeast.

Now for the supplies:

Let’s begin the steps:

While most of my supplies I had on hand, the deer head was purchased from Hobby Lobby at a whopping discount of 50% off. But just in case the deal is no longer available, Hobby Lobby always offers a 40% off one item coupon. This can be found on their website: http://www.hobbylobby.com/ and can be scanned from your mobile phone.

After spray painting the head gold, I allowed it to dry for at least 15 minutes before handling.

I covered the deer’s head with plastic to keep it safe from the adhesive and glitter

This tiny ornemant was purchased in a container of mulit-color ornemants at Dollar General.

I used a pencil and foam board to keep it lifted while it dried.

I used a drill to put a whole in the head where the nose would go. But please, use what you have on hand.

In my case, the nose fit pretty snug. But a small amount of glue will firmly affix it.

I had a few issues hanging this head on my mirror.  I tried using only these velcro strips above, but becase my base was sort of beveled it would not lay flush or stick securly. So I used gold thread to hold some of the weight. It’s a little visble in the picture below, but not so much in person.

Please excuse me in the picture below but sometimes you just gotta take the shot. Hahahaha!

Well I gotta run but I truly appreciate you stopping by.
