I have a few Fourth of July DIY and decor post to share with you. I am starting off with this extremely easy DIY made with Dollar Tree items. I love a good and inexpensive DIY project.
As with many of my blog posts, I posted a video on how I created this project a while ago. I am now sharing this with all of my blog readers. I hope you all enjoy.
So, let’s start with the list:

Let’s begin the steps:
I purchased these oversized platters from Dollar Tree. The spraypaint and sealer were all purchased from HobbyLobby.
I taped off the bottom of the plate so that I do not risk spray paint bleeding.
I spray painted the top of all four plates white.
For the striped plates, I taped horizontal lines with the painters tape and spray painted red.
For the star plates, I am using these window clings. I am cutting right along the line to create a sharp edge.
I used a glue stick to securely adhere on the stars for painting.
To prevent the blue spray paint from bleeding I spray painted over the stars white first.
Once dried, I spray painted blue.
Once dried, remove the tape to reveal the stripes
Then removed the star window clings to reveal the stars.
Here you have your stars and stripes chargers.
To protect the painted plates, I’m using this Krylon sealer.
And that’s it! My Fourth of July Stars & Stripes Chargers are ready for use. Here are a few more pictures for your enjoyment.
Weren’t these just the easiest to create? What a perfect way to add some pizazz to your Fourth of July celebrations. I hope you enjoyed this How To. If so, leave me a comment below.
