I purchased this cart from the Goodwill for
I clean off any stickers
I used Rust-oleum Metallic spray paint in Gold. By far the best gold spray paint in my opinion.
I spray painted all pieces in gold, including wheels, bolts.
Making sure to tape the bottom of the wheels befor spray paitning.
I am covering the bottom shelf with self adhesive marble print contact paper.
Now I begin the assembly
For the top shelf, I’m using a custom piece of cut glass from Lowes.
That’s it guys. Here are a few pictures of the finish barcart.

This is wonderful! Great job on the makeover! I just did a post on bar carts introducing a new hashtag #iheartmycart.. can you share it on Instagram with that and can I feature it on my blog?
Yes for sure. Thank you so much. I will have to check out your post too. I hope you have a blessed day.
I like those product of yours, they are really nice.
Which products are you referring to, Sydney?
These kinds of things are so great if you’re living in a small flat with no storage. I’ve meaning to buy one, but I think I’ll go thrifting instead.
LOL. If you are up for a little work, thrifting is the way to go. Not only do you save money but you can customize it however you please. 🙂
I am BEYOND impressed. I shop goodwill all the time and try to make over stuff but they never come out this good. This looks amazing!
I’m so glad you liked the bar cart. I was pleased with the outcome as well. I do a lot of DIY and makeovers and not everything turns out the way I envision. Just keep trying until you get something you like or something you can live with 😉 Hope you have a good day.
You did a great makeover bar cart job! that was lovely . The gold plated metal word”cheers” at the bottom completed the make over. thanks for sharing
Hi Kelly. Thank you so much! OMG yes, when I ran across that little cheers statue, I had to have it. I purchased it before my barcart find. But I couldn’t be more pleased with its new home.
It’s amazing what a coat of paint can do with a makeover. Totally unrecognizable as it was.
Girl ain’t that the truth. I love a good makevoer project.

Hey Needa. Thanks for the comment. I am a sucker for Gold decor items
I was wondering how you went about getting a piece of glass cut at Lowe’s, I didn’t know they did that and need some for my next DIY piece! Thanks!
There is a booth at Lowe’s where they will cut glass and mirror for you that you purchase from them. It’s sorta tucked away and you will need to ask for someone to help you. Check with customer service at your Lowe’s
