5 Budget-Friendly DIYs for Fall
Large Shadow Box
The large shadow box will be very similar to the small. The disassembly and reassembly process is exactly the same. Here we changed the insides of the shadow box showing a different option.

Step 1:
Disassemble the frame.

Step 2:
Flip the picture insert face down, and place the frame’s border on top.

Step 3:
Trace around the inside of the square then paint.

Step 4:
Once dry, tape horizontal lines over the square, then paint gold.

Step: 5
I removed the tape before the gold paint dried completely.

Step 6:
Once everything is dry, I freehand sketched a fun quote “Fall in Love” with pencil, then traced with a black Sharpie.

Step 7:
Then I erased any pencil markings.

Step 8:
I felt the letters were to thin, so I went over them with black paint and a paintbrush.

Step 9:
Once dry, I place the border over the painted square and place aside. Next, I’ll prepare pumpkins

Step 10:
I am using the remaining items from the 2-tiered pumpkin used in the small shadow box.

Step 11:
Cut the pumpkin in half.

Step 12:
Spray with adhesive and cover with gold metal leaf.

Step 13:
I created the stem from foil, spray painted it black and sprinkled with black glitter. I also spray painted the leaves and other items black, then reassembled.
I did not show the process but you will see this later.
Step 14:
I arranged and glued the pieces onto the square.

Step 15:
Finally, I reassembled the frame.
