Angela East – Holiday Home Tour 2016
Hello My Loves,
Another year has come and gone. I know it is super cliche but, WOW THIS YEAR HAS FLOWN. Ok, I’ve said it š.
I am so excited to share my holiday decorations with you this year. While touring you will see some oldies, but rest assured, there will beĀ a few new surprises displayed in unexpected ways.
I’ll also share some of the DIYs I created along the way. So be sure to stick around to check them out.
So, withouth further ado…
Welcome to Angela East’s 2016 Holiday Home Tour
Check out the quick vid on how I created this wreath with some of my leftover decorations.
Well, come on in…
Both of the reindeer here are from HomeGoods. The smaller reindeer is an oldie from last year and the larger I picked up and couldn’t set downs this year.
You may have guessed it. I decided to keep the purple decorated Christmas tree. But, this year I thought I’d put a bit of a spin on it with this silver top hat found at Arcadia, a local floral and home decor store here Houston. Find them here:Ā http://www.arcadiadecor.com/index.html.
In my niche there are some old elements like the two brightly decorated Christmas trees in my ZGallerie vases. But this year, I’ve invited Rodolph to join the fun. As well as two new gold Christmas trees and a sleigh all purchased from Hobby Lobby.

I love that you can see the two trees in my family room from here. But first, let’s have a look at the dining room.
This year and I’m sure for the next 3 years my home will be filled with poinsettias. Ā My daughter plays in the High School band, and this is their big fundraiser. Because I’m not much of a sales person, I chose to donate. So 23 lovely poinsettias, graced my home and my office this year and I can’t complain because they are gorgeous āŗļø.
My dining room has a lot of new stuff going on. Not only is some of the Christmas decorations new, but this room was recently made over. Check out the before in the post below:Ā https://angelaeast.com/project-1room30days-kickoff-dining-room-makeover/
On my buffet, I have this cute little 5ft fig tree purchased from Walmart. And, two cute reindeers reaching for the ornaments on the tree. These guys were purchased from HomeGoods last year.
The garland hiding in the back on my console table was a steal from Michaels. I believe it was 60% off. I created this shadow with all items from the Dollar Tree. Check a quick vid here:

In my family room I’ve decided to go neutral, gold, and silver this year. Can you believe I have a whopping total of three Christmas trees in this room?!
My 9ft tree is very old. So, I decided to spruce it up a bit by flocking it. I purchased a flocking kit online and I must say it was very simple. Messy, but simple. I think it brought life back to my tree. Check out the flocking kit here: Authentic 5 LBS Pure White Snow Bond with Opalina Flakes (Iridescent) Artificial Fake Snow Flock Powder for Christmas Trees and Wreaths …
These cute little guys were my first Christmas DIYs this season. Find the blog post here:Ā https://angelaeast.com/diy-christmas-decor-dollar-tree-snowman/.
I found these cute gold Christmas tree pillows at HomeGoods and demanded them into my cart. I was so shucks I found two. Needless to say, they were a great addition to this room.
My garland was also purchased from Arcadia and believe me when I say, it does not disappoint! It is so long and full and was only $40. Both my gold and silver nutcrackers were purchased at Walgreens and my ornaments are from Kroger. Surprising, right!? This time of year you can find gorgeous Christmas decor almost anywhere.
And finally my twin trees. Ok so they aren’t identical, but these fraternal babies looksĀ fabulous sitting in front of my ZGallerie mirror.
I hope you enjoyed the tour. Decorating this year was so much more work than normal, but I enjoyed every bit. The best part is now I get to spend the rest of the year admiring it.
Don’t forget I’m on Instagram so come through and check me out:Ā instagram.com/iamangelaeast.

Have a blessed day.
